I am currently reading LockDown by Walter Dean Myers. This book is about a 14 year old named Reese. Reese is in a lot of trouble. He finds himself in Juvie jall. A please were miss behaved kids go to suffer the consequences. Its like jall but only for kids. Reese learns what its like to be locked up and to be treated like a prisoner. He learns where bad behavior can lead you to. And he learns how hard it it to get out.
By reading this book ive learned a lot. Reese was sent to juvie jall because he got caught for selling illegal perscription drugs. And since i know people who do sell drugs. Ive learned if people like this get careless and get caught doing this and or other wrong things.They could end up in jall and or Juvie jall. Their hole life could be ruined with one wrong decision. They could end up in a jall cell. A jall cell is like a cage for humans. And then that cage becomes your home for a while. And how would it feel to be stuck in a cage for the rest of your life. Not being able to go outside whenever you want to. Your stuck there until someone tells you that you can leave. Thats not how i wanna live my life.
