I have finshed reading the book "Lock Down" by Walter Dean Myers. I really enjoyed reading this book. It was an interseting experience reading about a topic like this one. Its was interesting to see how it was to go to be in jail for kids and teen agers. It was fun seeing how it it from another person point of view.
While reading this book it mad me think of the people that i know who went to programs and juvie jail. After reading this book ive learned how it was for them to be in something like that. When your in juvie jail your basically treated like a prisoner. your serounded by other kids who have done something as bad as you did of worse. So you dont really know if the kid next you if gunna stab you out of no where or not. and you dont really know who to trust either. You dont really get any freedom and you are told what to do at all times. Your treated like a whole different person one your in there. And your whole life becomes different as well. By reading this book it has made me realize that i dont want to end up in a place like this .
