I am almost done reading the book 'things get hectic'. This book is a whole bunch of different stories on the same topic made into a book. The topic for this book is about abuse and how different people explain their story and how they can relate the abuse. Basically the stories are almost all different. But they always have something to do with abuse.
One of the stories in this book was about how this girl used to live next door to a little girl who got beat every day. This girl was young. And she would always have marks all over her. So this girl got tired of always seeing this little girl this way and finally decided to do something about it. She called social services and got the little girl taken away form her parents a she was put into a foster home. Even though the girl got taken away from her parents she was put in a beater and safer place. She was in a place where she didn't get hit and abused all the time. I like this this story because it shows that you don't have to be the one getting abused to say that you have had your experiences with abuse.
