the blind side

     I am reading a book called"The blind side". It is about this rich white family who takes in six foot four black teenager. His name is Micheal Oher. Micheal is one of along with 17 other kids who has a mother whi is addicted to drugs. Micheal rarely stays with his mother and is always on the move. He has no one to take care of him.He doesnt know what its like to have a family and doesnt know how to read or wright. But that all starts to change when he is taken in by a rich white family. The mom leigh anne is nice women with a good heart. She decidide to take in a huge black kid that she knew nothing about because she knew he needed someone to take care of him.Pretty soon Micheal or big mike as his new family calls him soon finds himself doing things that he could never do before. He was going to school and getting an education. And he finally new what it felt like to have a family.
     Im not done reading this bookmyet but so far i think the meesage in the story is to be generous towards other people. I think this because this rich white family is basically living the perfect life. The two parents of this family have two kids of their own to take care of. So why would they wanna take in a six foot four 300 hundred pound black kid. They did it because they care. They cared enough to take a kid whos been through a lot and make a chnge. At first they were adjusting to things but after a little bit it was like Big Mike was already apart of the family.  They cleaned him up. Gave him his own space. And made him feel like he was part of the family. They had no idea who this kid was when they took him in. They didnt know what he was like or where he was from or anything. But they stiil took him into their on house.
     I think people in the world should be more like this. More generous and caring towards on another. Poeple like this make change. If there were more people like this in  the world the world would be a better place than it is now.
